GRADUATION PRODUCTS
Graduation Products
At minimum, you must purchase the cap, gown, and tassel. Please note you are renting the gown and it will be returned after graduation before receiving your diploma.
The deadline to purchase your products is December 12, 2022. Any orders after the deadline will be charged an extra $20 in expedited shipping and handling fees and select products subject to availability.

When will I get what I ordered?
· There will be a pick up day for seniors to pick up what they ordered. Graduate Services will be in the upper commons to distribute the items.
· When: April 25th

Senior Pictures
The deadline for senior pictures for the 22-23 school year has passed.
Senior pictures for Ryle’s yearbook are taken at Prestige’s portrait studio in Crestview Hills. (No purchase necessary.) Schedule appointments BY PHONE OR ONLINE. Go to: prestigeportraits.com/studio or call (859) 578-0110 #80112. See Ms. Caldwell in room 125 for more info.

Successful completion of the Senior Exit Project is required for all senior students:

Create a folder in your Google Drive. All content will be visible to staff and community members in your senior exit interview. What should go in this folder? (Directions for creating folder)

- YouScience Reflection Workbook
- Civics Test Certificate Screenshot (Email your civics certificate to Tracy.Hanser@boone.kyschools.us)
- Any presentation materials you will use in your interview (Google Slides, Site, etc.)
- If you are using Google Site to create a website for your Senior Exit - Create a new Google Doc and paste a link to that Website in the Doc. Save this document in your folder. Share the Google Folder that includes everything, including the Doc with your Google Site link. You will also use this link for the Sign Up Genius.

HONORARY DIPLOMAS
Seniors have the privilege of showing their gratitude to a former educator, bus driver, cafeteria worker, or anyone else employed by the school system they have had by presenting them with a honorary diploma. COMMENCEMENT ACTIVITIES
OTHER SENIOR REQUIREMENTS/OPPORTUNITIES
Community Service Hours:
Every Graduate of Ryle High School MUST complete 5 community service hours each school year for a total of 20 hours. Hours are prorated for new enrollments. Completed forms should be turned into Mr. Pastura's Office (Room 100).
Civics Test:
All students throughout Kentucky must complete the Civics Test prior to graduation.
Once you obtain your certificate, send a screenshot to Mrs. Hanser in the Media Center.

Seal of Biliteracy:
The Seal of Biliteracy is an award given by a school, district, or state in recognition of students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation. Boone County Schools was the second district in Kentucky to offer this award.
- In 2019, we awarded 10 Seals of Biliteracy, and 9 certificates of Oral Proficiency.
- In 2020, we awarded 17 Seals of Biliteracy, and 5 certificates of Oral Proficiency.
- In 2021, we awarded 16 Seals of Biliteracy, and 5 certificates of Oral Proficiency.
- In 2022, we awarded 22 Seals of Biliteracy, and 2 certificates of Oral Proficiency.
